Where does Reno Porta Pros deliver?
We cover Reno first, then the ring of towns around it. Delivery is priced by drive distance, so it helps to know where you sit. Every unit we run gets serviced on the ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 baseline of one visit per week for up to 10 users over a 40 hour week.
| town | distance | direction |
|---|---|---|
| Mogul | 5.9 mi | southwest |
| Golden Valley | 7.6 mi | north |
| Sun Valley | 7.7 mi | northeast |
| Sparks | 9.2 mi | east |
| Verdi | 9.6 mi | west |
| Lemmon Valley | 12.8 mi | north |
| Spanish Springs | 17.4 mi | northeast |
| Cold Springs | 18.1 mi | northwest |
Mogul sits closest, right along the Truckee River corridor. Golden Valley is a residential pocket north of the city, common for home projects that need a renovation unit. Verdi runs west toward the state line and gets a lot of construction site work. Whatever the address, request a quote and we will confirm the delivery fee before we roll.
What can we bring to each town?
The same catalog reaches all eight towns. Standard units are the workhorse, about 44 by 48 inches on the ground and 92 inches tall, with a 60 to 70 gallon tank. For crews handling paints, coatings or herbicides, OSHA 1926.51(f)(1) calls for washing facilities, so we pair a handwashing station with the toilets.
Sun Valley and Sparks both take steady dumpster and storage container traffic. A roll-off needs about 60 feet of straight clearance behind the truck, which matters on tighter Sparks lots. Lemmon Valley has properties on septic, so we run pumping service out there too. A residential tank gets pumped every 3 to 5 years, driven by tank size and household size.
Spanish Springs sits farthest northeast at 17.4 miles and leans event and ranch work, so restroom trailers and ADA units go there often. Cold Springs is the far northwest edge, good for camping setups. Reno itself covers everything between, from deluxe flushable units to temporary fencing.

How is the delivery fee set?
Distance drives it. A short hop inside Reno costs less than a run out to the far towns, and the rental cost itself is separate from the trip charge. For a single-day drop, the delivery fee typically lands at $150; longer bookings shift to a monthly delivery rate instead. Weekend jobs carry a premium, often around $200 for the trip.
Bigger loads change the math. A restroom trailer or a 40ft container needs more room and a heavier truck, so plan the approach. ADA Standards section 302.1 wants the ground stable, firm and slip resistant under any unit, and section 403.5.1 keeps an accessible route at least 36 inches wide. We check both on placement.
Placing a unit in the public right of way is a separate question. Reno permit rules for that are NOT VERIFIED here, so confirm placement in the right of way with the City of Reno before we set anything on a street or sidewalk. On private property it is simpler. See our placement guide and the permit requirements page for what we know. For a hard count on any site, OSHA 1926.51(c) sets one toilet for up to 20 workers, and our how many do I need tool walks the rest.
Do you charge more for the farther towns?
Yes. Delivery is priced by drive distance, so Cold Springs at 18.1 miles northwest costs more to reach than Mogul at 5.9 miles southwest. The rental rate stays the same across the service area. We confirm the exact trip fee on your quote.
How often do units get serviced in the outer towns?
Same schedule everywhere. ANSI/PSAI Z4.3 sets one service visit per week as the baseline for up to 10 users over a 40 hour week. Distance does not change that. Higher-traffic sites in Sparks or Spanish Springs may need more frequent stops, which we build into the monthly plan.
Can you handle septic pumping outside Reno?
Yes. We pump in Lemmon Valley, Cold Springs and the outlying areas where homes run on tanks. A residential septic tank is typically pumped every 3 to 5 years. If you see backups or slow drains, check the warning signs and call for emergency septic service.
What do you deliver for events in these towns?
Events get standard units, handwashing stations and trailers scaled to the crowd. Where ADA units cluster, ADA Standards section 213.2 requires at least 5 percent be accessible, never fewer than one. See our event restroom and wedding pages for setups.
Which town is closest to your base?
Mogul, at 5.9 miles southwest, is the nearest on the list, followed by Golden Valley 7.6 miles north and Sun Valley 7.7 miles northeast. Central Reno addresses are closer still. That keeps trip fees lowest near the city. Start on the home page or contact us.
